NEW YORK, Jan 27, 2011 / FW/ — Even with record snow fall in New York City and more coming in the forecast, it did not stop Veuve Clicquot from holding its annual Clicquot in the Snow celebration of the winter season.

Leaving the slopes of Aspen behind, last night Veuve Clicquot took over Celsius Lounge at Citi Pond at Bryant Park with a champagne fete celebrating the New York City debut of Clicquot in the Snow, as well as the launch of the limited-edition DKNY for Veuve Clicquot boots.

The boots were the hit of the evening, with guests trying on pairs and posing for photos with the Veuve Clicquot yellow boots.

Guests sipped flutes of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and snacked on wintery bites, between taking spins on the ice rink, dancing to tunes spun by DJ Reach and playing in the unexpected snow shower in the Veuve Clicquot-branded snow tubes and matching DKNY for Veuve Clicquot boots.

Vice President of Veuve Clicquot Vanessa Kay and Director of Communications for Veuve Clicquot Christine Kaculis welcomed event guests, which included bold-faced names like Tinsley Mortimer, Mia Moretti, Marjorie Gubelmann, Caitlin Moe, SVP of Global Communications of Donna Karan International Aliza Licht, and hundreds more.

Fashion was a major part of the event with the gals debuting their après ski wear – Tinsley and Caitlin donning fur vests and jackets while Mia channeled an even more retro look with a white sequin top and black and red print wide-leg pants.

All the guests looked stylish while sipping their flutes of Veuve Clicquot!
