NEW YORK, Sept 9, 2011/FW/– Embracing a combination of masculinity and femininity, Yigal Azrouel’s Spring 2012 collection focused on the strong, confident woman. Structured compositions appeared in elongated and linear silhouettes having a simplistic yet architectural feel. Using only luxuious fabrics such as lambskin, wool gabardine and silk chiffon, the modern designs frame the body. The collection was complete with leather high waisted pants and unique layers. Fluid and constructed fabrics captured sophistication along with sensuality throughout the line.

The rich textures paired with voluminous forms created a multidimensional effect. Neutrals were punctured with pops of citrine and cognac once again focusing on conjuring the image of the sharp woman.
