NEW YORK, Dec 10, 2011/ — For Fall 2011, JNBY’s women’s collection continues with the aim to enhance individualism through their clothing, with the use of multifunctional and versatile designs.
Their conceptual approach is constant throughout this season, as they explore various themes and inspirations. This fall JNBY has created an extensive range of interchangeable, contemporary separates, with pieces that can easily be introduced into every woman’s wardrobe.
Reoccurring themes from Spring are freshly reinterpreted by JNBY’s design collective for Fall 2011, including Future, Clown and Rock.
A new theme entitled The New Uniform, translates influences from military uniforms in a feminine and soft way. Along with the incorporation of army colors, several designs details hint to the inspiration, including epaulets, cargo pockets, and quilting. The Future theme is designed with an elegant minimalism in mind for fall.
Designed with sharp, clean lines, the pieces are industrial and urban, including hooded vests, jumpsuits, and ribbed knits. The Clown theme presents a fun, retro style with brighter colors and patterns. The shapes are more playful with uneven hems, exaggerated cowl necks, and oversize silhouettes. This season the Rock theme is rougher, while maintaining a sleek edge. The jackets in this category are strong and diverse, including a leather motorcycle jacket, a varsity inspired jacket, and a suede jacket with draped lapels.
The JNBY Fall 2011 women’s collection is a comprehensive line of unique, modern, and sophisticated pieces. The ease and multifunctional ability of the designs allows for women to effortlessly incorporate them in to their wardrobe while still being able to emphasize their individuality.
