PARIS & DALLAS, Apr 11, 2012/ — Unveiled on the Paris catwalk on 20th of January 2012 during Menswear Week, the new Lee Krisvanassche denim collection puts workwear into high gear and high fashion.
A 123-year old American brand that began its life in Salina, Kansas, Lee® Jeans has been a favorite workwear among cowboys for over a century. The collaboration between Lee and Kris Van Assche celebrates Lee’s heritage and expertise of this authentic denim brand while mixing it with the sophisticated world of Kris Van Assche where modern masculinity is of the essence.
By using workwear cotton twill, Kris Van Assche reinterprets iconic Lee® archive pieces like the denim jacket, the blouson, the jeans shirt, the five pocket trousers and the chino trousers, to echo the Autumn Winter collection.
Five styles proposed in 2 colourways; workwear blue and dark brown, constructing two silhouettes.
The logo embossed piece of leather, the labeled gun metallic details combined with the tone on tone stitched fabrics reflect the designer’s refined world of nonchalant elegance.
The Lee® KRISVANASSCHE denim collection will be available through a selection of KRISVANASSCHE retailers as well as being sold in selected Lee® stores from July 2012. Prices range from 195 to 415 Euros.
