NEW YORK, Jan 12, 2014/ — On Friday, January 31, 2014, the Year of the Horse begins. Heralding in the Chinese New Year with pride, adidas Originals CNY Fashion pack presents two silhouettes in brand new colourways as a celebration of the Year of the Horse.
Subtle references to a rich history are woven into each of the shoes, from the use of gold and red as a cultural tribute, to a bold jacquard horse-motif created especially for the pack.
With red and gold representing fortune and good luck respectively, it’s only appropriate that the celebrations should take place on two of adidas’ most beloved silhouettes – the Tech Super and the Superstar 80 shoes.
