Shot in New York City, the campaign captures 11-time Olympic medalist swimmer Ryan Lochte and model/actress Ireland Baldwin in a selection of Calvin Klein white label must-have items for Macy’s “American Icons” program.
The campaign is a mix of print, digital and outdoor advertising that will begin rolling out in May.
In addition to being featured in the June issues of leading men’s and women’s publications – like Men’s Fitness, Self and Shape – the launch will also be supported with social media placements on key platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
In New York City, the advertising visuals will appear on the Macy’s Herald Square Jumbotron, in metro stations and on Taxi TV starting on May 12th.
The Calvin Klein white label line curated for Macy’s “American Icons” focuses on clean lines and a modern aesthetic inspired by an athletic influence. Sporty details are seen throughout, from crew neck and tank silhouettes, to mesh accents, racing stripes and dynamic prints.
Now in its second year, Macy’s popular “American Icons” campaign celebrates the heritage, landscape, time-honored traditions and people that make America great.
The initiative will kick off in May with a variety of family events inspired by America’s favorite pastimes, fashion from beloved designers and a give-back program to benefit those who have served to protect our country.
