Immediately noticed by the international fashion set, Veronique Branquinho was named Best New Designer in 1998 VH1 Fashion Award in New York. But it will be two years before she would finally make here first appearance on the New York catwalk. In 2000, in the presence of Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium, Veronique Branquinho showed her collection at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
With her womenswear label already a bona-fide success, Veronique Branquinho launched her menswear line in Paris during the Fall 2003 Paris Menswear season. Today, the Veronique Branquinho label consists of womenswear, menswear, eyewear and shoes.
Known as the high priestess of monochrome romanticism, the pleasure of her designs comes from the details. Veronique Branquinho is based in Antwerp.
