|BARCELONA, Apr 5, 2009 / FW/ — A native of Peru, Andrea Llosa obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management in Lima before she moved to Barcelona to study fashion design at the Felicidad Duce School, from which she graduated with the second best collection in March 2007.
Her career began in the cosmetics sector. She was brand manager for Unique-Yanbal SA Corporation in Lima, and later worked on the development of a new brand, Myrurgia Barcelona. Inditex provided her with an opportunity to enter the world of fashion as brand manager for Oysho.
Llosa has gradually built up her experience, dividing her time between her native Peru and Barcelona, working and getting to know the fashion sector in different roles and with different responsibilities: costume designer for a number of Peruvian films (Madeinusa and La teta asustada), accessory designer for the Peruvian company Bowlware, and designer for Comentrigo.
Selected to take part in the Bressol Project, she has once again been chosen to present her individual collection at 080 Barcelona Fashion.
