BARCELONA, Apr 15, 2009 / FW/ — Txell Miras graduated in 1999 with a degree in fine arts from the University of Barcelona. In 2000, she studied fashion design at the Llotja School of Art and Design in Barcelona.
 One year later, she won the Insideouting contest organized by the Domus Academy in Milan. In 2002, she was a finalist at the Tokyo Grand Prix Fashion Awards, and won the Italian Chamber of Fashion award for most promising young designer. Other awards include the Lancôme award for best young designer at Barcelona Fashion Week and the 2005 Barcelona és Moda award for best fashion professional. She was a finalist at the 2006 El Botón-Mango Fashion Awards and the 2007 Gen Art Style New York Fashion Awards.
