DALLAS & MILAN, Dec 22, 2009 / FW/ — With the menswear season just around the corner, two new labels from familiar names surface, Galliano Men and Mr Nils both of whom are expected to debut at Milano Moda Uomo and Pitti Uomo, respectively.
On January 12, from 1800 to 2100, at the Museo Marino Marini in Florence, Lars Nilsson’s Mr Nils will debut during Pitti Uomo. Lars Nilsson was formerly the Creative Director of Bill Blass, Nina Ricci and Gianfranco Ferré before launching his own label.
John Galliano is well known for being the Creative Director of Christian Dior and also designing his eponymous label. Now, he wants to reach the Net Generation and Gen Y with his diffusion line Galliano beginning with the launch of Galliano Men during Milano Moda Uomo.
An urban casual sportswear targeted toward the 18-25 year olds, Galliano Men is contemporary priced to attract this very young market. With travel as an inspiration this new line is trendsetting, extravagant and adventurous that falls in line with the inimitable John Galliano style that we all love.
