NEW YORK, Feb 12, 2010 / FW/ — Dressing the ladies from day to night, Farah Angsana unveiled another winning collection this season by proposing clothes that every woman and any woman would covet and wear.
To Farah, everything is in the details, from the exquisite beadwork to the masterful draping; it was easy to discern that this collection is nearer couture than other prêt-a-porter collections. Take for instance the micro pleating on the bodice of the bustier cocktail dress.
The fuchsia material is silk, yet with micro pleating the bodice was turned rigid and structured thus it hugged the body while at the same time giving the dress an architectural shape.
With this collection, Farah Angsana will surely expand her fan based once again; in fact, the Zurich-based designer garners more followers every season as she continues to be consistent in the high quality of her work.
