LVIV, Ukraine, Dec 31, 2010 / — Oksana Mukha wedding dress and evening gown collection “Voyage” was presented at the at Lviv Fashion Week Spring 2011 held on October 28-31, 2010 at Lviv, Ukraine.
At an exclusive event at Lviv’s historic House of Scientists in Ukraine Oksana Mukha introduced her 2011 collection “VOYAGE”. The show featured over one hundred beautiful wedding dresses and evening gowns and provided the dramatic finale to Lviv Fashion Week.
“The 2011 collection is called ‘VOYAGE’ as a reflection of the sweeping geographical scope of our international partners. Our collection includes a wide range of silhouettes that recall classical styles from the 60’s and 70’s (Dior, Chanel) to more contemporary forms, a fusion of romantic and classical styles, in which the romantic style predominates,” explained designer and company director Oksana Mukha.
“Julie” by Oksana Mukha drew praise from some of France’s toughest critics at Carrousel du Louvre in 2010, where Oksana Mukha previewed a few wedding dresses from her 2011 collection.
The 2011 Oksana Mukha collection differs from previous collections in its use of décor and forms and includes exclusive fabric and materials from Jakob Schlaepfer, new crystals from the 2011 Swarovski Crystal collection and a full-range of colors, dominated by yellow, red and black hues. Many dresses incorporate dualism through the unification of two colors, but with more romantic dresses this dualism is gently expressed as an accent within single color spectrum.
