MADRID, Apr 22, 2009 / FW/ — Now on its 7th edition, Puerta de Europa, the leading point of reference for wedding fashion in Spain will be held from April 23 – 26, 2009 at the Feria de Madrid. The Spring 2010 Puerta de Europa season also marks two milestones: this is the first time it will be under IFEMA’s organization and the launch of Cibeles Madrid Novias.
 To be held on the first two days of the fair, namely 23rd and 24th of April, Cibeles Madrid Novias will feature 18 catwalk shows from famed Spanish designers such as such as Hannibal Laguna, Modesto Lomba, Elio Berhanyer, Juan Duyos, Roberto Torretta and Petro Valverde, among others, as well as ideas for bridegrooms, lingerie and accessories. Meanwhile, during the four-day exhibition, more than165 Spanish and foreign brands will present their bridegroom and bridal outfits, party-wear, First Communion attire, accessories and trade equipment for the year 2010 season. Through the participation of these brands, visitors will be able to discover at first hand the latest wedding fashion and party-wear trends in terms of design, colours, materials and accessories. These collections, which have been designed for the new season, will be on show at the different stands throughout the exhibition, thus completing the overall vision that visitors are offered at the CIBELES MADRID NOVIAS Fashion Parades. Furthermore, this edition of the fair will feature the participation of independent designers, who will present and promote their collections in the area known as “Fusión”. This area was created back in the year 2008 with a view to providing a meeting-point for wedding designers and the industrial sector.
